Dan loves great dogs, smart people, beautiful art, interesting books and sunsets in Santa Fe. He’s an introvert masquerading in an extrovert’s body but returns e-mails really well and is always looking for like minded individuals with similar causes and purposes. An endurance athlete he currently runs 27 miles per weeks, bikes 100, and swims when it’s not too cold. He hates bullies, bureaucracy, bullshit, and anything that gets between him and his capability and freedom. He believes in free speech, the First Amendment, the right to be left alone, and that you should be able to go after someone who invades your home, hurts your dog, or threatens your family. His home is his favorite hotel and reading by the pool is where you are likely to find him. His passions are pets, privacy, and old people.

Dan lives and works in Charlotte, NC with his life partner Christine Sheffield, her daughter Ashley, two cats and three dogs; Julia, Roxanne and Zack.
